How much does it usually cost for dental implants?

The cost of dental implants can vary a great deal depending on the number of teeth being restored, the type of restoration being used, and whether any supplemental procedures like bone grafting, a sinus lift, or extractions are required prior to implant surgery. We recommend that you come to our office for a consultation so we can provide you with an accurate estimate.

How many teeth can be extracted at once?

There is no limit on the number of teeth that can be extracted at once. Although every patient is unique, we generally recommend getting all of your compromised teeth extracted in one visit, rather than performing the extractions in multiple visits.

Is a bone graft major surgery?

There are types of bone grafting procedures that are considered major surgeries, but the most common type, which is needed prior to dental implant surgery, is a minor outpatient procedure performed at our office.

How do I know if I need TMJ surgery?

Only an oral surgeon can tell you if you need TMJ surgery. Surgery for TMJ disorder is always considered a last resort, reserved for the most severe cases. After you’ve exhausted all other treatment options, we will begin to consider surgery.

What is used for sedation dentistry?

At our practice, we offer nitrous oxide (laughing gas), inhaled sedation for children, and IV sedation. By offering a range of sedation levels, we can meet all of our patients’ needs.
